Preparing For The Winter..

I am a SUMMER person (the season, not the character from The Oc, although I am a total summer). I absolutely HATE the cold. I`d rather be hot than cold, and the reasons are endless. But I`ll elaborate on them some other time.

So it`s kinda weird that I am looking forward to the Winters now. Its because I am totally bored of my summer wardrobe, and since they is no point going shopping for summer clothes now-I have been stocking up for the winter. Just like a bear would :)

Yep, that`s how materialistic I am-I get tired of a season cos I get bored of my clothes!

Anyway, so here are some things I have recently picked up and I am looking forward to wear when it gets colder.

These satiny shirts are huge this season. But for some reason you dont see them mentioned in any 'trend lists' although they are all over street style blogs and tumblr!

I bought these two from Forever 21 recently.

And I have been obsessed with them. Zara had some in really vibrant colours, for their spring-summer collection but they were 3 grand a piece I think.

Every time I would go there, I had to stop myself from spending so much on a plain shirt.

I love how the fabric makes them so feminine. Also its so much fun to dress up such pieces with accessories!

I am thinking some pearls and gold jewellery!

Next I got this Lace blazer/Jacket. I have been dying to get my hands on something like this. I thought I`d have to get one made!

It looks very formal on the hanger but I absolutely love how the two,since they are so light-drape and move when on.

Onto the Cardigans!

Bought these three so I can colour block through the winter.

Cardigans are winter staples but recently they`ve been given more importance for some reason. And I quite like it :) !

Loving the lace detailing on this one! And the military-esque buttons on the red chunky cardi!

(eeps! wrinkles!)

Didnt put the prices, cos it seems tacky. If you want to know ASK ME!

Next thing I want, is a sequinned cropped jacket.

Like this one from Zara, is sooo pretty!

Its got a 'pretty' price tag too!

And of course some pretty tights!

Noooo!!

Anne Hathaway In Full Catwoman Costume

The costume does look pretty cool except for the flowing hair and the boots with stiletto heels.

Nina Dobrev from Vampire Diaries ( In Donna Karen, Resort ) was said to be the best dressed on this red carpet. I am not really a fan of matching the carpet you are walking on, but have to agree that the cut and structure of the dress is amazing and she does look good!!

This has GOT to be my favourite look from the Emmys. The Modern Family actor gets it right with the dull coral and look at the confidence in that pose!

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012

Finally I have my New York Fashion Week post ready.

These are just my picks :) collections I would DIE to wear/see/touch/smell (yeah I am creepy like that)

I LOVE the make up. How awesome is the bright lip and the neon nails?

Not that I can ever match JASON WU, but I will be getting this bow belt on the shop soon! Isnt it SO cute!

Also REALLY liking the Gradient blue print.

I managed to catch a live stream of this show and it was beyond amazing. Really loving the purple and the cutouts and also the burgundy lip.

The last dress, on the right looks like pencil shavings, which I think is pretty cool!
